JON WELLSTEAD

Oxfordshire-based freelance illustrator Jon Wellstead is originally from the wilds of rural Mid Wales, with a taste for Tregroes Waffles (hmmm so good!) and Tintin comics.
  

He's been drawing knights, cowboys and robots since he was four years old - and getting told off for writing in permanent marker on the steps of his Primary School. He might've got away with it if he hadn't signed his name...

Sine then, he's been getting posh-sounding qualifications - A BA(Hons) here, an MA there - But all the while still doodling, colouring and publishing.

Only now he signs his work with pride, and no fear of getting into trouble!
